Hanab strengthens its position in high-tech and cleanrooms with the acquisition of CTC Solutions

Strong combination of specialist cleanroom expertise and installation capability

Amsterdam/Best, 1 May 2026 – Hanab set to acquire CTC Solutions (CTC) with effect from 1 May 2026. CTC specialises in the design and construction of high-quality cleanroom solutions and airtight structures.

The acquisition is consistent with Hanab’s growth strategy to further strengthen and broaden its position in complex and high-tech environments. Hanab's focus is sectors where quality, reliability and specialist knowledge are crucial, including pharmaceuticals, healthcare, defence and food. CTC will continue to operate as an independent company under its own name, retaining its own organisation, culture and way of working. Day-to-day operations, customer relationships and employees will remain unchanged.

Specialist knowledge and scale

Over a short period of time, CTC has evolved to become a key player in a demanding and technically advanced market segment, with clients who set high standards for quality, precision and reliability. CTC’s specialist knowledge in the field of cleanrooms and airtight structures is now set to merge with Hanab’s installation expertise, scale and organisational support. This combination provides a solid foundation for further growth, continuity and the delivery of integrated solutions for customers in the construction and engineering sectors.

Continuity and new opportunities

‘CTC remains CTC – a close-knit team with a strong identity, short lines of communication and a pragmatic way of working,’ explains CTC’s management. ‘By becoming part of Hanab, we are strengthening our solid foundation and gaining access to additional expertise and support. This will allow us to continue to focus entirely on technically advanced projects, whilst leaving space for further growth and development.’

A logical addition to Hanab Installation Technology

CTC will join Hanab Installation Technology (HIT), the Hanab division that specialises in building services engineering. HIT works across the country on electrical and mechanical installations for sectors including non-residential, healthcare, education, residential construction and complex high-tech environments.

‘CTC’s specialist expertise fits perfectly with our ambition to continue to grow in complex and high-tech sectors,’ explains Erwin Berendsen, Group Commercial Director at Hanab. ‘By combining CTC’s expertise with our installation capability and project organisation, we can strengthen our proposition to customers who demand high standards of quality and reliability in complex, high-value environments. This is a logical and strategic step for Hanab.’

Within Hanab Installation Technology, CTC will be part of the southern region, maintaining a human scale whilst being connected to a larger, national organisation.
