Crucial role for distribution in strengthening the electricity grid
The overall tender, worth over €2 billion, comprises two major expansion programmes.
We are extremely proud to announce that Hanab Infra Solutions has been awarded the contract to play a crucial role in the expansion and reinforcement of the electricity grid in Liander’s South Holland service area.
Liander, as part of network operator Alliander, faces the challenge of laying and replacing thousands of kilometres of cable and installing more than a thousand new electricity substations. The work is being carried out by numerous contractors, with a minimum contract term of six years. As there are regional differences in the structure of the electricity grid, Liander has divided the work into two programmes: NuMeren and NuRijnland.
Taking the living environment of people and animals into account
Work is due to commence in September 2024. We always work safely and, of course, consider the living environment of residents, animals and vegetation. To ensure good progress, collaboration with provincial authorities, municipalities, environmental agencies, major corporate customers, suppliers and landowners is of utmost importance. This will aid with carrying out the requisite surveys, obtaining permits and acquiring sites.
