Hanab appoints Eelco Blok and Han Fennema to the Supervisory Board

The new members are Eelco Blok, who will become chairman, and Han Fennema. Blok and Fennema bring a wealth of experience in strategy, governance and business transformation. Eelco Blok
Business administrator Blok (born 1957) served as CEO of telecommunications and ICT service provider KPN from 2011 to 2018. Since then, he has held a number of supervisory roles. He is vice-chairman of the Board of the Hellenic Telecommunications Organisation (OTE) in Greece and a non-executive director at Telstra in Australia. He is also a member of the advisory board of Glasfaser Plus, chairman of the supervisory board of Fairphone and a member of the supervisory board of Feyenoord.
Han Fennema
Fennema (1964) studied computer science and was at the helm of grid operator Enexis from 2010 to 2014. In 2014, he became CEO of Gasunie, where he remained until the end of 2023. He is currently a supervisory director at Windpark Fryslan, which operates 89 wind turbines in the IJsselmeer, and at Enrichment Technology Nederland in Almelo, which develops, builds and installs gas centrifuges for uranium enrichment.
