AMS Trenchless Directional Drilling Specialist
AMS Trenchless is a medium-sized HDD specialist, primarily delivering projects in the United Kingdom. However, Hanab intends to deploy its specialisms, such as nearshore drilling, beyond the UK as well, complementing the activities of Hanab’s Drilling Department.

Green Frog Connect
Green Frog Connect is a Bristol-based high-voltage engineering and contracting company focused on the design, delivery and connection of HV infrastructure, particularly for renewables, industry and utilities. It delivers turnkey projects, ranging from engineering and civil works to installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of high-voltage installations up to approximately 132 kV. Hanab intends to further develop both companies in both existing and new markets, including in collaboration with partner VolkerWessels UK.
Hanab Energy & Water COO Guus de Vries: "Both companies are a perfect fit with the Hanab formula. We combine high-quality engineering, execution and specialised drilling techniques, enabling us to serve clients in an integrated way. At the same time, we see opportunities to embed existing expertise more broadly within our organisation, strengthening our capabilities across multiple markets."
Ambitious growth plan
These acquisitions align with Hanab’s ambitious growth strategy. Recently, the group also acquired Dutch cleanroom specialist CTC Solutions, based in Best, strengthening its position in high-tech and complex environments. In addition, three installation companies in the southern and central Netherlands were acquired. Alongside the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium, the United Kingdom represents an increasingly important market for Hanab.
Hanab CEO Stanley Maas: "With the acquisitions of Green Frog Connect and AMS Trenchless, we are taking an important step in our international growth strategy. The United Kingdom offers a strong and rapidly growing energy market where, with our combined expertise, we can add value immediately. This strengthens our position in high-voltage infrastructure and underground networks."
In addition to the acquisitions already completed, Hanab is engaged in intensive discussions with several companies to further strengthen its position in the United Kingdom. The company also expects to announce collaborations with companies in Belgium and Germany in the near future.
