Successful curved drilling of heat transport pipeline in Vlaardingen
Hanab Pipelines & Utilities is installing a heat transport pipeline in Vlaardingen on behalf of WarmtelinQ.
The heat transport network consists of two pipelines – one for supply and one for return – which are being laid underground, with a total length of approximately 6.5 kilometres.
Pulling of the curved section under the A20 motorway has been successfully completed and required 24/7 dedication from the whole team! A total of seven 48-metre pipeline sections were pulled through – six triplets and one pair. Our professionals subsequently welded the pipeline sections together and insulated them. This operation involved pulling the return pipeline; work on pulling the supply pipeline is now also underway.
